Start Small
Help us make life sweeter for everyone by sharing our newsletter with someone else. Thanks.
Sometimes we are led to believe that massive change requires massive action. But I think we need to challenge this idea. Let’s say we want to travel 26.2 miles, which just so happens to be the length of a half marathon.
Sometimes we get so focused on the distance, how fast we are moving, and worst of all how quickly others are going forward, that we miss that the most important thing is that we are taking action ourselves, and moving forward.
Even the smallest movement forward, when done consistently, will cause us to arrive at the finish line.
The point is to take steps forward, however slow or small we may feel them to be. We must stop comparing and competing. We must stop focusing on how far we have yet to go, and enjoy the journey.
Start slow. Keep going. And eventually we will arrive at our desired destination.
All the best,
Matthew
